Planter Options...

Moulded Names, Initial and Dates

Where our planters feature wide, flat surfaces we are able to add lettering and dates in moulded relief that is integral to the planter in the same finish and will last without deterioration for many, many years, even outdoors. Examples may include the name of a hotel or business, the initials of a couple getting married and the date, the date a company was established etc. Prices are per letter or number and dependent upon the finish required.

Full colour logos or other designs

On planters that feature a suitable smooth, flat surface we are able to offer a very cost-effective option to add full colour logos or other designs. Only suitable for interior use, this is achieved by printing the design on acetate and programming a robotic cutter to remove all the excess acetate leaving only the design or logo, which is then easily adhered to the planter.

 Extremely effective, the result is highly professional but at a low cost following a one off set up charge for each design.

Lighting

Most planters can be specified to include lighting options for both interior and exterior use. Please see our Bespoke Design section for some examples and contact us to discuss your requirements.

Castor bases

All our planters can be specified to include a fully bonded in castor base, with or without brakes as required. The base will be recessed into the planter so the wheels will not be noticeable. Each castor base is engineered for the individual planter and the likely weight loading.

Please note, castor bases are intended for occasional, not daily use and may fail if bumped regularly over carpet joining strips, kerbs and other obstructions.

Pallet bases

All our tree planters can be specified with a hidden pallet base for ease of moving once planted. Each base is engineered for the style, size and weight loading of individual units and will incorporate strengthening materials to suit. Please note, pallet bases are intended for occasional use only.

False bases

Each of our taller  thin planters, typically those over 60cm, can be specified with an integral false base, at any height, but usually at 40 – 45cm down from the lip, to create the perfect sized planting pocket.

Suitable for use with soil plants they can also be specified to be fully waterproofed to the top and at a height suitable for hydroculture planting. Weights can also be added to the floor base where stability is an issue – please specify your requirements at the time of ordering.
